Welcome to Eye Class Optometry- A Vision of Care!

Getting the right prescription for your eyeglasses or contact lenses is an important part of comprehensive eye care. But seeing clearly is just one part of your overall eye health. It is important to have regular eye exams with an optometrist whether or not you wear eyeglasses or contacts, and even if your vision seems to be clear.

Here at Eye Class Optometry, our Doctors of Optometry believe in looking at the big picture when it comes to your eye health. As such, we take the time to get to know you, your individual ocular history and your specific vision needs. Whether you simply need a routine vision and ocular health examination, a fitting for glasses or contact lenses, require monitoring or treatment for various eye diseases (such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease), or desire a consultation regarding eye surgery (such as LASIK or cataract surgery), our Doctors and knowledgable staff will provide you with the best care, advice, options, follow-up and overall service. Our clinic is state-of-the-art and offers cutting-edge technology which allows for earlier detection, proper treatment, and thus, better prognosis for eye diseases which may otherwise go un-diagnosed.

Simply put, it is never too early to start taking care of your eyes! Vision and eye health examinations are an important part of overall health maintenance for people of all ages. It is recommended that adults and seniors have their eyes examined annually to keep their prescriptions up-to-date and to check for early signs of eye diseases. For children, clear vision plays an essential role in "normal" childhood development and is crucially linked to their learning abilities. After all, it is said that up to 80% of learning is visual! Children often do not complain of vision problems simply because they do not know what "normal" vision looks like. If your child is struggling in school or is having difficulty concentrating on school work, be sure to schedule a vision and eye health examination promptly so that any underlying visual causes can be diagnosed and rectified immediately.
